On Tuesday, April 25th, join PBS Chef, author of Kitchen Gypsy: Recipes and Stories from a Lifelong Romance with Food, Tequila: A Guide to Types, Flights, Cocktails and Bites, and the original Agave Girl Joanne Weir for an incredible evening of mezcal, tasting and fun with Copita Tequileria y Comida and special sponsor Mezcal Vago. Get ready to be educated on the mezcal making process by the sponsor himself.


The night doesn’t end there! Enjoy passed appetizers and a tasting flight of mezcal from one of Joanne’s personal favorite Mezcal producers, Mezcal Vago, followed by a three course dinner paired with mezcal cocktails. Another special guest for the evening will be the man himself, Judah Emanuel Kuper, owner of Mezcal Vago. Aside from getting to meet both Joanne and Judah, guests will also have the opportunity to win fantastic prizes and be awarded with special gifts.


A percentage of the proceeds from this event will go towards supporting Dining Out For Life, an annual fundraising event where more than 3,000 restaurants across the country donate a portion of their proceeds from this one special night to support the free and local prevention and support services at San Francisco AIDS Foundation. This is San Francisco’s 16th year celebrating Dining Out For Life, a way to raise awareness and support for the fight against HIV/AIDS in our local community.
