Friends and partners Matt McNamara and Teague Moriarty are the fresh faces behind the recently opened Sons & Daughters in San Francisco’s Nob Hill. Determined to casualize fine-dining and make it more affordable, the two co-chefs/owners unabashedly embrace modern techniques and ingredients accenting their new American menu with the unexpected while keeping it accessible. The small, open kitchen bridges two intimate dining rooms. Sommelier Carlin Carr has developed a thorough list showcasing a strong selection of wines at all price points representing many different countries. The restaurant is open for dinner Wednesday – Sunday and offers a four course menu for $48 as well as all dishes available a la carte.
