Refreshed, Revitalized, Re-opened | Copita Launches Spring Menu Today!

Spring has sprung early at Copita! Five years and 172,619 margaritas later, they are reopening their doors after doing some spring cleaning. As they welcome the new season, the team at Copita invites you to enjoy their refreshed restaurant today, St. Patrick’s Day!

A surprising and little known fact worth recognizing is that St. Patrick’s Day is widely celebrated in Mexico as a military holiday, in honor of El Batallón de los San Patricios. “Saint Patrick’s Battalion” was comprised of mostly Irish immigrants and expatriates, who fought alongside the Mexican army during the US-Mexico War of 1846-48.

The “San Patricios” are revered in Mexico and Ireland, so they’ve created a special drink in their memory. Mirroring the bright green background of their battalion flag, Copita will be serving their Verde Margarita for a limited time to mark the holiday. Join the fun, reserve a table here.

Additionally, with freshly buffed floors beneath their feet and a spring in their step, Copita is launching the bright flavors of their new Spring Menu today! The new menu items, courtesy of Executive Chef Daniel Tellez,  highlight a bounty of fresh and green ingredients. As always, their entire menu is 100% gluten-free. New items include: Oaxacan Tetelas, Guajillo Shrimp, Spring Salad, Dungeness Crab, Crudo, Green Aguachile, Tres Al Pastor, and Rib Eye Steak.

It doesn’t end there. Join in as Copita celebrates the remainder of Mezcal March with a variety of cocktail specials to quench their guests’growing thirst for this smokey agave spirit. Despite being distilled in Mexico for over 200 years, mezcal has only recently become popular around the world, so what better way to raise awareness of this unique spirit than to host a toast with bespoke cocktails and a signature tasting flight? Mezcal March will run from Friday, March 17th to Friday, March 31st.
