There’s a New Chef in Town!

Citizen Beverly Hills is excited to announce the hiring of a new Executive Chef, Seth Greenburg. A Los Angeles native, Seth relocated to Houston three years ago to work on a restaurant project and is excited to return to his hometown.

 

Seth brings a wealth of experience to Citizen with jobs in Michelin starred restaurants such as L’Orangerie in Los Angeles and Cuisine Francais in Chicago – both with training under mentor, Chef Gilles Epié. Greenburg also served as opening Executive Chef at the Dakota Restaurant in the Roosevelt Hotel and then went on to work as Executive Chef at The Penthouse in Santa Monica for a number of years.

 

Citizen looks forward to continuing to be a vibrant and social gathering experience in the heart of Beverly Hills, featuring Seth’s market-driven seasonal American food. Greenburg’s new lunch and dinner menus will launch September 6th, giving him August to get to know the Citizen culture, guests and kitchen team. Guests can look for signature items such as Chicaron with tajin, queso fresco, forked avocado, an Open-Faced Grilled Cheese with mozzarella, guanciale, farm egg, harissa butter and Brick-Pressed Chicken with brown butter, spaetzle, and vegetable hash. A new selection of cocktails to complement Greenburg’s menu will also be available at the time of this launch.

 

Starting September 6th, Citizen will now be open for dinner seven nights a week from 5pm-10pm, and lunch Monday through Friday from 12pm-2:30pm. Citizen’s unique “7 for 7 ‘til 7” Happy Hour program continues Monday thru Friday from 2:30pm-7pm. Brunch will re-launch in the near future once the new lunch and dinner menus are under way.
