Salt and Straw
Salt & Straw’s Student Inventor Series is back this fall, as kiddos get ready to head back-to-school. Starting on September 6, the Student Inventor Series hits Salt & Straw shops up and down the West Coast. Each region will feature five new ice creams inspired by the whimsical minds of local fourth grade students.
Canela is celebrating their 8th anniversary of September 19th! Grab your friends and family or bring a date to enjoy some of Canela’s favorite plates from throughout the years. The ticketed event will reminisce back on the ever-exciting journey by passing signature tapas, sharing sips from the beloved Whole Wine Trade, and of course, dancing the night away. E&O Kitchen and Bar
Can you believe E&O is already on their last month of their 5 Months of Pig promotion? They’ll be wrapping up the series with luau dishes and tiki inspired cocktails. The specials will be running from September 19 through October 5th. Don’t miss it!
One Market Restaurant
Have you stopped by One Market for Happy Hour lately? It has to be one of our favorites in the city! Available at their bar and lounge Monday-Friday from 3:30-7pm and Saturday from 5:30-9pm, you won’t want to miss out on the fun. Whether you’re looking to skip the lines or just be the coolest parent around, you can now place your order online ahead of time and enjoy your BBQ feast from the comfort of your own home. If you’re looking to soak up the last days of summer, you’re always welcome to take it to the patio!
The Concerts at Wente Vineyards are coming to an end, but they’ve saved the best for last. This year’s highlights were REO Speedwagon, Boz Scaggs, Josh Groban and the Doobie Brothers. In addition, Matt Nathanson recently joined the lineup on October 13th to complete the series. The remaining concerts will feature the following live performances:

Tickets are on sale for the general public and club members. Guests can choose from a number of different dining and seating options to create a unique concert experience. Higher tier tickets include a buffet-style wine country inspired dinner by Catering at Wente Vineyards along with access to a communal dining table on the lawn for up to 10 guests. The price of the ticket includes seating, the evening’s performance, and the buffet style dinner served from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tickets starting at $229. Tickets without dinner are sold starting at $99, and allow guests the option to dine at The Grill at Wente Vineyards prior to the show.
The Matt Nathanson concert is a more relaxed experience where attendees are encouraged to bring along a blanket and chair for claiming a spot on the lawn. Food trucks will be present and general admission tickets are available for $80 per person via the link provided below. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages are not included in the price of tickets, but may be purchased separately at the show.

LB Steak Santana Row
2019 marks the 10th anniversary for LB Steak in Santana Row and they are celebrating with four days of parties and promotions spanning September 25-28. Grab your fur-baby and head to Oakland for Beihaus’ Puptoberfest on Sunday, September 22! You’ll be yappin’ about their all day Happy Hour (11:30am-10pm) with 10% of the day’s revenue donated to OAS. Don’t worry if you weren’t able to make it to Sangria Sundays in August, because the team at Duende has decided to keep this as an on-going special! Head in on Sundays for a seasonal flight of sangria paired with incredible, shareable plates created by Chef Paul Canales. This is the perfect way to wind down the weekend with friends and family.
