Warwick International Hotels represents a collection of more than 55 distinct, upscale hotels and resorts. Warwick San Francisco is designed to cultivate the ultimate San Francisco sensory experience for the guest, with the comfort and ease of a historic San Francisco pied-à-terre. With this vision in mind, AF&CO. was tasked with creating the concept for the property’s restaurant and lobby bar. Chef Casey Thompson, Top Chef: Season 3 fan favorite, had a vision for the menu that was inspired by her connections with the farmers of Northern California. The resulting restaurant is progressive with a refined, yet approachable atmosphere that reflects Thompson’s sophisticated and diverse culinary style. It’s sister bar, The European, gives a historical nod to the prohibition era, when traditional American cocktail recipes were taken overseas and imported back with a decidedly European influence. The name reflects this sensibility and style, expertly mixing old with new, giving guests the timeless thrill of a finely made cocktail. AF&Co. worked closely with the creative teams for Aveline and The European, resulting in cohesiveness with the hotel experience. We also oversaw the public relations launch, which resulted in positive coverage from The Today Show, The Wall Street Journal, Esquire Detail, Out magazine, C magazine, LA Confidential, San Francisco magazine, Zagat, Thrillist and many others.
