Dumpling Week at M.Y. China

The number 8 is associated with prosperity and good fortune, so this September, M.Y. China will be celebrating National Dumpling Day (Sept. 26, 2019) for 8 days by featuring 8 uniquely hand-crafted dumplings. Masterfully created by Executive Chef Tony Wu, the Great 8 Steamed Dumpling Basket will showcase not only 8 different fillings, but 8 different and unique folds to create each dumpling. Due to the meticulous hand crafted nature of each of the 8 dumplings, the Great 8 Steamed Dumpling Basket will be available in limited quantities during both lunch and dinner from September 22nd to September 29th for $28.


The Great 8 Steamed Dumpling Basket will include the following. No substitutions.


Veggie – peashoots, corn, carrots, spinach, tofu, spinach wrapper

Mushroom – enoki, shiitake, king oyster, wood ear, beech mushroom

Fish – Seabass, tobiko

Pork – pork and chive


Shrimp – squid ink wrapper

Duck – Peking duck, scallion, hoisin

Chicken – chive, ginger, sesame, egg, tobiko, turmeric wrapper
