Poggio Trattoria’s Bollito Misto

It’s almost that time of year again — Bollito Misto time! Poggio Trattoria is delighted to host the annual Bollito Misto, this year from January 23-27. Make your way to Sausalito and ease your winter chill with a classic Lombardian tradition, sure to warm you up on any cold evening in January.
 
For five days only, Chef Benjamin Balesteri will prepare this slow-simmered dish featuring a selection of five different meats — including cotechino sausage, beef tongue, brisket, veal breast and oxtail — plus a selection of house-made sauces: salsa verde, horseradish crème fraiche, bone marrow butter and kumquat mostarda.
 
The best part of all? Bollito Misto is served table-side from an imported carello (cart) made exclusively for Poggio. The dish is available for $30/person. Of course, there’ll also be plenty of wine to complement your meal!
