People who love to eat are always the best people.Julia Child
A Bay Area native, Bridget Cheng is a hospitality publicist and communications specialist who spent close to a decade in NYC working with some of the top chefs and restaurants in the country.
Her love for food and travel stemmed from her childhood while exploring the Hong Kong markets with her grandfather. Since then, she has been fascinated with food, culture and storytelling. This curiosity ultimately led to her Penn State University where she graduated with a B.A. in Public Relations and a B.S. in Supply Chain Management.
Upon graduation, she kickstarted her NYC career by working red carpet events such as TIME 100, NYE Ball Drop and Tribeca Film Festival. However, she wanted to follow her love for hospitality and moved on to work in destination marketing before pursuing culinary and lifestyle PR.
Bridget has worked on media relations and marketing campaigns for chefs, cookbooks, events and restaurant concepts from fast casual to full-service. She specializes in working with culinary personalities and past clients include Alex Guarnaschelli, Geoffrey Zakarian, Paula Deen and Fabio Viviani.
Aside from work, Bridget is a part of a non-profit organization called Fuel the People and is also a mentor for students at Penn State’s College of Communications. In her free time, she enjoys cooking with friends, going to concerts, checking out the local art scene and keeping up with Bay Area sports. Bridget recently moved back to the Bay Area and is loving the California lifestyle!
