James Beard Taste America SF
On Saturday, October 28th, join Taste America All-Star James Beard Award Winner Hugh Acheson of Five & Ten and James Beard Award Winner’s Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski of State Bird Provisions and The Progress for a cooking demonstration at Sur La Table on Union Street to learn the tricks of the trade. Beginning at 10:00am Chef Hugh Acheson will guide guests through a lively cooking demonstration followed by a book signing of his book, The Chef and the Slow Cooker at 11:00am. Beginning at Noon, Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski of State Bird Provisions and The Progress will prepare new dishes from their cookbook, State Bird Provisions followed by a book signing of the namesake cookbook at 1:00pm.
