Levy Restaurants, one of America’s most critically acclaimed restaurant companies, was developing a new restaurant and event space, situated in a prime location on the Chicago River. Chef Tony Mantuano had a food concept in mind. The menu was very unique and would focus on three entrees: whole-roasted chicken, whole-roasted fish and slow-roasted beef. AF&Co. worked closely with in-house teams to bring Chef Mantuano’s vision to life across all meal periods, define the brand positioning, tailor the concept to selected target markets and execute the launch. River Roast was one of Zagat’s “22 Most Anticipated Summer Openings in the US,” and quickly became a top Chicago destination, receiving accolades from The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun Times, Eater, Tasting Table, and many others.
