A Spritz-Filled Summer
Check out all the spritzes to sip around the Bay Area on Saturday, August 1, AKA National Spritz Day!
Spritzes on Tap
At Palio is one of the only restaurants in the world that offers Aperol on tap, giving them the ability to make the freshest, quickest, and perfectly made Aperol Spritz out there! They are also serving up a Hugo, Limoncello Spritz, and an Amalfi Spritz with Italicus bergamot liqueur, prosecco, and seltzer to bring a taste of the Italian coast to every glass. Over at Scoma’s, the house-made Limoncello Spritz is served on draft with prosecco and sparkling water, making it an easy match for fresh oysters, Dungeness crab cakes, and waterfront views.
Beyond the Aperol Spritz
Bon Délire brings a French perspective to spritz season with its Cointreau Spritz, combining Cointreau L’Unique, lime juice, grapefruit soda, and Brut Champagne. While the Aperol and Hugo Spritz remain on the menu, this Parisian-inspired version offers something a little different. Bosco keeps things simple with a refreshing Limoncello Spritz made with limoncello, sparkling wine, and fresh mint, alongside its signature Bosco Spritz featuring Italian Cappelletti and fresh strawberry.
Spritz Takeover in Wine Country
At Clementine, the Aperol Spritz is taking over wine country, whether enjoyed solo on the patio or served as a Spritz Tower for the whole table. For something a little different, the Clementine Spritz blends housemade clementine sorbet, Prosecco, and Aperol into a refreshing twist on the classic. Meanwhile, Little Saint’s By Any Other Name showcases strawberries from the restaurant’s own farm alongside rose-steeped vermouth, strawberry liqueur, and cava for a seasonal toast to summer. At Eight North, the alcohol-free Lawer Estates Verjus Spritz highlights early-harvest wine grapes with bright orchard fruit and floral notes, while a rotating lineup of seasonal spritzes keeps the menu changing throughout the summer.
For Patio Season
Gott’s Roadside puts a lighter spin on two classic tequila-inspired cocktails with its wine-based Margarita Spritz and Paloma Spritz, offering easy-drinking options that pair just as well with burgers and fries as they do with an afternoon on the patio. Families can settle in while the kids enjoy organic hand-spun shakes and the adults sip something refreshing. Canela invites guests to create their own aperitivo during happy hour, customizing a spritz with their choice of spirit and mixer while settling in with Spanish bites on their patio.

Mediterranean Meets Spritz
At Amoura, the Moonlight Spritz blends Tito’s Vodka, elderflower, vermouth, and fresh lime into a floral cocktail that pairs naturally with Mediterranean favorites like the mezze platter or herb-crusted branzino. It’s an easy choice for lingering over dinner with friends.
