Cheers to Mother’s Day

Hey everyone!

Hope you are enjoying the sun as the gloomy spring rain starts to clear out! In case the days have gotten away from you (happens to the best of us!) Mother’s Day is this weekend on Sunday. If you don’t have anything planned just yet, don’t panic! We got you covered. Keep scrolling for a few ideas, including our outstanding client offerings!

If you have been reading this newsletter for a while, you know how much my mom means to me. Over the years, I have shared some fun stories during my upbringing from her dinner parties (read more HERE) to her love of air conditioning!

A few years back, I was honored to write a piece for Out Magazine about my mom and the unique relationship gay sons have with their Mothers. Click here, I hope you will enjoy it.

Now go kiss your mom.

Lot of love,

– Andrew & the af&co. team

WELCOME TO OUR NEW PARTNERS

Please join us in welcoming our newest partners, Payakk, Pietro’s and Hotel Clark!

🇹🇭 Payakk

At PAYAKK, the culinary journey is deeply rooted in the lifelong philosophy of Chef Tobb, shaped by more than 30 years of experience that began in a family kitchen in Phichit, a small town in the lower northern region of Thailand. From those early days to formal training at top culinary schools in Thailand and Japan, Chef Tobb has remained committed to a core belief that food should be sustainable, health-conscious, and creatively inspired by local ingredients. That philosophy continues to guide PAYAKK today. The restaurant honors Thai culinary traditions while reimagining them for a modern audience, sharing the stories and flavors of Thailand with the Bay Area and beyond. Its approach is grounded in respect for the environment, a focus on ingredient integrity, and a commitment to fostering meaningful cultural dialogue through food.

🍝 Pietro’s

Pietro’s is a long-standing Northern California institution, originally founded in 1956 in Vacaville and a staple in Lodi since 1985. The restaurant recently relocated to a new space in Reynolds Ranch, marking an exciting evolution for the brand. While rooted in Italian tradition, the current concept leans into a more elevated, California-driven approach with seasonal ingredients, an updated aesthetic, and a refined guest experience. It continues to serve as a beloved community gathering place with strong local loyalty and multi-generational appeal.

🛏️ Hotel Clark

The Historic Hotel Clark is a forthcoming lifestyle hotel located on Hill Street in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Steps from Angels Flight and Grand Central Market, and within close proximity to Crypto.com Arena, LA Live, and the city’s most dynamic cultural and sporting venues, the property is positioned to become a vibrant new anchor within DTLA’s evolving hospitality landscape.
